soaking up something...

I thought for sure I'd be soaking up the sun... so far, I've merely been soaking up the wireless internet, alcoholic beverages, and a wonderfully comfortable couch... but not much sun. I'm staying at my cousin's place here in SD. I went to the store earlier today and noticed they were shooting a tv show just outside, which was kind of cool. it was fora show called veronica mars, which I believe is a UPN show. it was interesting to watch the production of it, considering tv production was what I studied in college.

after some very rough travels to seattle and back, I finally have more down time than I know what to do with. which is fine. I wish I was one of those people who are always busy. always have something to do. never sit on my ass and watch tv, namely football all day on saturdays and sundays... it may not change, but soon something will. I am determined to get back on the horse and go running for some added exercise.

I'll add more later. I'm about to head to the mountain film festival to watch some outdoor films. it's at the San Diego Natural History Museum... and it's sold out, but my friend scored me a ticket.
